ESAI/EPA Grassroots Award Scheme

The ESAI with the support of the EPA provide financial support to promote dissemination of research, knowledge exchange, development and exposure of early career researchers and for establishing new collaborations through the Grassroots Award Scheme. Workshops are a key networking tool, and an opportunity for early-stage researchers to increase their profile within a field of study.

The EPA/ESAI Grassroots Award Scheme provides funding of €600 to postgraduate and postdoctoral researchers to organise a workshop in the broad environmental research area. The scheme is open to members of the ESAI and who are conducting research relevant to the ESAI and EPA remits.

The event should be a stand-alone event, and not part of an international conference.

Details of how to apply feature in our Grassroots Award Scheme page, and we have a rolling call every two months (month-end in February, April, June, August, October & December) for applications.
