
EPA National Research Conference 2010 - "Science into Action for a Sustainable Ireland"

As Ireland works towards economic recovery, there is a determination that future development is sustainable. This conference will highlight the knowledge developed under EPA-funded research and demonstrate its application to delivering a sustainable Ireland. Following opening addresses from John Gormley, Minister for Environment, Heritage and Local Government; Dr Mary Kelly, EPA Director General, a keynote address on 'Science into Action for a Sustainable Ireland' will set the conference theme.
A series of parallel sessions will then examine key environmental issues in the context of a sustainable future:
