Colloquia and Workshops
One of the major activities of the association is the Annual Irish Environmental Researchers Colloquium which is held at the beginning of every year. These Colloquia have proved to be a tremendous success and are now the largest national scientific meetings in Ireland attracting around 400 delegates each year. This stems largely from the open format, encouraging a wide range of contributions from all areas of environmental activity. In order to help postgraduates become involved in publishing, in 2005 the ESAI began a new scheme to publish selected Environ colloquium papers. The papers undergo peer review and the process of acceptance is similar to that required by journals. Colloquium proceedings from Environ 2005 are now available in hard copy from our administrator (administrator@esaiweb.org). Proceedings from
Environ 2005 and Environ 2006 are available electronically see relevant colloquium link for further details.

Papers from Environ 2007 are currently under review and will be available later this year.

Submissions are now invited from student presenters at Environ 2008. Please adhere to the format used in the sample paper and follow the attached instructions to authors. Be reminded that submissions must be supported with a signed copyright form Closing date for applications is 17th June, 2008 at 5pm. Please direct any queries to our administrator Sinead Macken - administrator@esaiweb.org
