Student Competition

For many years, the ESAI has run a competition for the best student presentations at the Environ Colloquium.

At this year’s colloquium, students will be able to register online their wish to have their poster or oral presentation judged. Winners are also invited to submit an article on their research project to the Environews E-zine and to their prize sponsors. The prizes so far this year include:

• ESAI Best Oral Presentation (€250), sponsored by the LifeTime Lab
• ESAI Best Poster Presentation (€250)
• Best Biodiversity Presentation (€250), sponsored by Aulino Wann & Associates
• Best Waste and Resource Management Presentation (€250 and 2011 CIWM Student membership), sponsored by CIWM
• Best Forestry Oral Presentation (€250), sponsored by Dept. Agriculture, Food and the Marine - COFORD Research Programme
• Best Forestry Poster Presentation (€250) sponsored by Dept. Agriculture, Food and the Marine - COFORD Research Programme
• SSSI Best Soils Presentation (€250)

Prizes are presented at the prize-giving ceremony which is held in conjunction with the close of conference lunch in UCD on Friday 9th March 2012. You may wish to view the forms used by the judges below to assist you in preparing your presentation.
